The theme of this Surah is to exhort the Muslims to spend in the cause of Allah. Surat Al Hadiid terdiri atas 29 ayat, termasuk golongan surat-surat Madaniyyah, diturunkan sesudah surat Az Zalzalah. Dinamai 'Al Hadiid' (besi), diambil dari perkataan 'Al Hadiid' yang terdapat pada ayat 25 surat ini. Pokok-pokok isinya: 1.Keimanan:
And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might and benefits for the people, and so that Allah may make evident those who support Him and His messengers unseen. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might. Surat Al-Hadid [verses 7-25] - Believe in Allah and His Messenger and spend out of that in which He has made you successors.But you chose to be tempted ˹by hypocrisy˺, ˹eagerly˺ awaited ˹our demise˺, doubted ˹the truth˺, and were deluded by false hopes until Allah's decree ˹of your death˺ came to pass. And ˹so˺ the Chief Deceiver 1 deceived you about Allah. Surah. 7. اٰمِنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖ وَاَنْفِقُوْا مِمَّا جَعَلَكُمْ مُّسْتَخْلَفِيْنَ فِيْهِۗ فَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا مِنْكُمْ وَاَنْفَقُوْا لَهُمْ اَجْرٌ كَبِيْرٌۚ Terjemahan Berimanlah kamu kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya dan infakkanlah (di jalan Allah) sebagian dari harta yang Dia telah menjadikan kamu sebagai penguasanya (amanah).

Our Lord, and the Lord of everything, Revealer of the Tawrah, the Injil and the Furqan, the Splitter of the grain of corn and the date stone! I seek refuge with You from the evil of everything whose forhead You have control over. O Allah! You are Al-Awwal, nothing is before You; Al-Akhir, nothing is after You; Az-Zahir, nothing is above You
